Reine is a Lebanese mother, dancer and singer. She has more than 10 years experience teaching and performing Arabic dance from her homeland. This style can be traced back to ancient Mesopotamia and has been kept alive through the bodies of women that teach their daughters and granddaughters up until the present, to bring remembrance of their inner power and celebration of life. She also has a background in yoga, meditation, and mantras for more than 25 years, of which 2 years were spent living full time in the ashram. tiziana farrell

‍

Through my experience as a social worker and a mother, I’ve learned that motherhood brings both deep joy and unexpected challenges. I believe every family deserves a positive start, including the right to seek a positive birth experience, whatever their choices. After a difficult postpartum period as a second-time mum, I trained as a postpartum doula in 2020. With 18 years of experience as a social worker, I understand how crucial the postpartum period is for nurturing the baby, mother, and primary caregiver. In 2024, Baby and Me was created to support new mothers and reduce loneliness by rebuilding a sense of community. These sessions offer a safe, relaxed space for mothers and babies to connect.
